We have a full time, fixed term opportunity for one year for a Handyperson to provide general day to day repairs, maintenance and decoration to various Guinness Care and Support Schemes across Devon. You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, although flexibility to cover 7 days on occasion would be advantageous. A full driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential as you will be required to travel to and from the schemes, mileage is paid at 40p per mile. We have a new fixed term contract available for up to 12 months at one of our older person’s sheltered housing schemes in Oldham, working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are 09:00 – 13:30 however we are looking for candidates who are flexible to cover additional hours if necessary. The purpose of this role is to enable customers to maintain independent living by providing a supporting and responsive service, assisting them to obtain any external support they may need. You will have excellent communication, organisational and team working skills, experience of working with older people, and a good level of numeracy and literacy. We have an exciting new vacancy at our friendly older person’s residential home in Tiverton, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexibility to cover 7 days if necessary would be advantageous.
